The Department of Justice has announced that the Citizenship Ceremony which was due to take place on 13th December 2021, has now been postponed due to the recent COVID-19 restriction updates.

Those individuals, including our own clients who received an invitation to the scheduled ceremony, will instead be required to sign a statutory declaration, which will be sent to them. The Department has stated that those affected by this announcement will be contacted by the Citizenship Division in order to complete the citizenship process.

For further information in relation to the postponement should be addressed to citizenshipinfo@justice.ie.
